Best Policy Statement
TradeUpGames strongly recommends that members use safer shipping options whenever possible, such as PO Boxes, package hold locations, campus mailrooms, business addresses, or approved pickup locations. Members should avoid sharing home addresses unless they are fully comfortable doing so. TradeUpGames does not control, verify, guarantee, or supervise member shipping addresses or deliveries. All trades remain member-to-member and at your own risk.
Never Share More Than Needed
Members should never share unnecessary private information, including:

- →Personal routines
- →Passwords
- →Account logins
- →Banking information
- →Payment app credentials
- →Family information
- →Private phone numbers outside the platform, if avoidable
No Doxxing or Address Misuse
Members may not share, post, threaten to share, misuse, sell, expose, or publish another member’s address, phone number, school, workplace, family information, or personal details. Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent ban.
Shipping Address Safety
Members are responsible for the shipping addresses they provide. TradeUpGames recommends:
- •Do not share your address before a trade is accepted
- •Use safer address options when possible
- •Never post your address publicly
- •Do not share another member’s address
- •Do not pressure members to reveal personal information
- •Do not request address changes outside the locked trade process
- •Use tracking for shipped trades
- •Use signature confirmation for high-value trades
Any member who misuses another member’s private information may be restricted, suspended, or permanently banned.
Recommended Safe Shipping Options
Ship to a safer address when you can. TradeUpGames recommends using a safer receiving address instead of your personal home address whenever possible.

Some carriers may not deliver to PO Boxes, so confirm the shipping carrier before using one.
UPS Store Mailbox
Best for

Can often receive packages from multiple carriers and may work better than a PO Box for larger packages.
FedEx Hold Location
Best for
- •Members who do not want home delivery
- •Higher-value trades
- •Members who want pickup control
Ship packages to eligible FedEx hold locations for pickup.
USPS Hold for Pickup
Best for
- •Smaller packages
- •Members who use USPS tracking
- •Members who want to avoid porch theft
USPS may hold packages at a post office for pickup.
Campus Mailroom
Best for
- •TUG Campus members
- •Verified students
- •Dorm residents
- •Students without a permanent local address
Students must follow campus mailroom rules. Some schools may restrict what can be received.
Business Address
Best for

Regular Adult Members

RetroZone Members
- •Use PO Box or mailbox service for smaller items

College Students
- •Use campus mailroom if allowed
- •Do not share dorm room numbers

- •Avoid shipping high-value items to unverified traders
High School Students
High school students may not share shipping addresses or complete shipped trades without parent or guardian approval.
